Alpine Fightin' Bucks Cage The Coyotes
The result was an explosive 14-4 victory for the Bucks. The Coyotes scored 3 runs in the bottom of the first on 4 hits as Edcalante, Gonzalez and Flores scored off of Daniel Rojo. But after that hectic first inning, Rojo shutdown the Coyotes on 3 hits and 1 more run through the end of the fifth. Evan Moore came on to pitch the sixth without giving a run while walking 1 and striking out 2. Rojo pitched 5 strong innings, giving up 7 hits, 3 earned runs with 2 walks and striking out 6.
All nine starters for the Bucks got at least 1 hit. Ben Villa and Christian Morris were 3 for 4. Isaac Gallego and Daniel Rojo were 2 for 3. Evan Moore and Robert Oliphant were 2 for 4.. Daniel Rojo drove in 3 while while Evan Moore, Jonathon Frost and Christian Morris drove in 2 each.
5 Bucks had doubles and Robert Oliphant had a triple.
The Bucks are now 2-0 in District play with a home game against Crane, Tuesday the 25th of March.
